The Saints of Pain unplugged at the slipperroom

If I've said it once, I'll keep on saying it... YOU HAVE TO MAKE IT TO THE SHOWS.
It's getting harder and harder to truly describe the awesome experience that it is to be at one of the Saints show. Last night was no different. We impatiently awaited the Saints of Pain to gather themselves as they made the sound technician work overtime. Everything has to be perfect for the Saints of Pain. The fans demand nothing less than perfection, and they bring nothing less than that.
For a rainy Sunday night, the turn out of people was excellent. We all poured in about 30 minutes before the show. The stage was phenomenal!!!! it was different to see the Saints without their regular music-making tools. The stage was eerily adorned with tall candles all around the band. Not just any candle, but candle with the reflection of Saint Lazarus, one with a hand and 4 saints... no detail is too small for this great band.
I was a bit worried to listen to my favorite band “unplugged”, but guess what? they fucking delivered.
Songs like “Little Whispers” and “Down” sounded just as great acoustically as it does with all of their gear. As always, people had started pulling up chairs and gathered around us, by the time the second song came around. That's how you know the Saints have won a fan over, when they pull up a chair or get close to the stage by the second song.
For once, there was nothing for the Saints to break, no speakers, lights or fuses to blow. But they delivered a concert just as raw as always. Even on the melodic acoustic sounds of last night's concert, the songs still got to your soul and made you sing along.

so god damn it!! stop living vicariously through my wittings, and just show up already. They are hard metal, but they love puppies.
SAINTS FOREVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEER!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PS. if you have pics from the show, please email me some, so that I can post them on the blog.
