My favorite song "Therapy" from the Saints of Pain

Hey Fans,

I know that a lot of you know for sure how my favorite songs from the saints of pain are numbered. Back when I first met these guys almost two years ago, my favorite song was "Down". The lyrics to that song just hit right home. It's like Priest was looking into all of our hearts looking for the biggest hurt when he wrote that song.
Now I must say however, that my number one favorite song from the great band The Saint of Pain has to be "therapy", and "down" is a close second. Why "Therapy"?. I don't know. I understand half the lyrics, but "Therapy" is one of those songs that make you get up from your seat and dance. It is one of those songs that makes you a fan of the Saints of Pain by the time they are done playing it. It is one of those songs that just makes you forget a very stressful day at the office and let loose even when a million people are looking at you.

Now don't get me wrong, there were other bands that I have liked BEFORE the Saints of Pain, and I'm sure there will be other bands that I will like AFTER them. However, there's not another band at this moment that makes me loose myself in the sound, the lyrics, and the environment as the Saints of Pain do. It is more than just great songs, it is an experience. If you are a CEO of a huge company that just loves great music, you can come down to one of their gigs and just be one of us. You will not be judged, or questioned. All we want is to share the joy that the music from the Saints of Pain brings to us.

I might be a groupy or a freak, and yes it might be a little scary that I have a Saints of Pain shrine at my office and at my home, that I literally sit here at home and play their songs over and over again. BUT, you have not hear music played at is best, until you hear this band.
You trust me on this, I have a 9-6 white collar job, AND I also run my own production company during my free time, however my way to release all that stress, is by listening to this great music. I could have an awful month, but it all goes away when I listen to songs like Therapy, down, re-breath, Anthem, Little Whispers....... What? you don't know these songs? then get your fucking lazy ass to one of these great live shows and stop living vicariously through me. You will never ever experience what I have experienced, until you listen to these guys live...

so with that said, show up to one of their live gigs. They are hard core heavy metal, but they love puppies. Come up and say hi, they don't bite. Shit, you can even buy them a drink if you really enjoyed the show.. Priest and Uriel do NOT drink, so get them water, Poor Syxx is always stuck driving, so ask him when you can get him a drink. Now LAZ......ohhh hoo hooo... be careful with him, because he will drink you under the table, but only AFTER a gig, NEVER before. he has to be in tip-top shape to sing the songs that we have all come to love and appreciate.

Now I know that I have ranted for a long time, but I had to put down in words the joy I feel when I listen to this band play live. I have gone to Long Island to see them play. for those of you that live in Jersey as I do, that's two trains and a cab ride.
I have seen them play at the "Red Hook" in Brooklyn. Again, two train rides and a cab ride ( thank god I was dating a girl at the time that was not far from where they played, but that's another story).
Now they will be playing in Jersey for the very first time ever (again, two train rides an a cab), but you know what? I will follow these guys to the end of the earth if I have to. They play the best songs ever, and they make me forget about the fucked up day I might have had at the office.

Without further ado, below is a teaser of my favorite song of all time. Now this was taken by my good friend sempai-tem at my b-day bash. Yes, they Saints of Pain had a gig on my B-day weekend, and yes they sang my favorite song, AND wished me happy B-day in front of the whole club. That's because they are very down to earth. Now let's see if Metallica, godsmack, or Pantera will do that for YOU.
